1. Parties and Acceptance

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to everyone ("User", "you") who visits or uses the metiogames.com website ("Site") operated by Ali Mutlu Tüzün ("Metio Games", "Company", "we"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Site.

2. Purpose of the Site

The Site is provided to introduce Metio Games as an independent game studio, its games (including Deep Fishing and Born of the Veil as of the date this document was prepared), and contact information. No direct product sales or payment transactions are currently conducted through the Site; access to games will be provided through third-party platforms (e.g. Steam, Google Play, App Store).

3. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including but not limited to texts, logos, brand names, graphics, character designs, images, and software — belongs to Metio Games or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and applicable intellectual property law.

• Prior written permission is required to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the content for commercial purposes.
• Press and content creators may use press kit materials (when published) within the stated usage terms.

4. User Conduct

When using the Site, you are expected to refrain from:

• Actions that disrupt, overload, or threaten the security of the Site's normal operation.
• Sending misleading, deceptive, or malicious content through the contact form (including spam).
• Attempting unauthorized access to the Site's source code, servers, or infrastructure.

5. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links or integrations to third-party services (e.g. Formspree for the contact form, Vercel Analytics for site analytics, Steam/Google Play/App Store for game platforms). These third-party services have their own terms of use and privacy policies; Metio Games is not responsible for the content or practices of these services.

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". Metio Games makes no warranty that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Metio Games shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of the Site.

Metio Games reserves the right to update these Terms without prior notice. Updated Terms take effect from the moment they are published on the Site. You are advised to review the Terms regularly.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. İzmir Courts and Enforcement Offices shall have jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms.
