The Shop Is Open

2026-07-04

Milestone 2 brought the main menu. But the buttons sitting in that menu had nothing behind them. This milestone filled the gaps.

Shop panel, profile system, achievements, daily rewards — all of it in one week.

Shop: Boats and Avatars

Two categories: Boat and Avatar. Each with its own tab, its own card layout.

Buy a boat and it changes. Pick an avatar and it shows up on your profile. Simple, but satisfying — playing to afford the next boat feels different from playing just for score.

Achievements

We gave players small goals. Catch your first 10 fish, break the combo record, pass a round count.

The achievement system adds depth. Climbing the leaderboard stops being the only motivation.

Profile Panel

Your avatar, your level, your stats. The player has a "self" now.

Building this system made us realize something: avatar choice matters a lot. People pick their representative carefully.

Daily Reward and Season System

Log in every day, get a reward. When the season ends, the theme changes.

A daily reward is a small thing on its own. But it's exactly what builds the habit of coming back.

The Retention Loop

Milestone 3's real achievement: the game's retention mechanisms no longer come from gameplay alone. The shop, achievements, daily rewards — three more reasons to come back, layered on top of the core loop.
